A special Upper School Speech Day celebrating the achievements of our amazing pupils and marking the next exciting chapter for our Year 6 as they prepare for their new adventure. A huge thank you to our inspiring guest speaker, Josh Lewsey, for sharing his experiences and encouraging our pupils to embrace every opportunity that lies ahead and, above all, to be kind. It was also a bittersweet farewell to our Deputy Head Academic, Steve Robinson, as he leaves to take up the role of Headmaster at Dair House School. Our loss is most definitely their gain. Thank you, Steve, for 15 years of dedication, care, timetables, and, perhaps most importantly, your clan point monitoring! You'll be greatly missed, not just by the children but by everyone who has been fortunate enough to work with you. Our final week of term was one of creative expression! Many of our year groups enjoyed getting hands-on with clay, paint and a variety of craft materials as they rounded off the academic year. That's a Wrap on The Little Mermaid Jr. What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of Year 6! We are incredibly proud of our talented pupils who brought The Little Mermaid Jr. to life with confidence, enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork. From the first rehearsal to the final curtain call, they demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment, delivering performances that were truly memorable. Watching our pupils grow in confidence, develop new skills, and work collaboratively to create something so special has been a joy. Their resilience, determination, and passion for performing have shone throughout this entire journey. This week we hosted our annual Digital Showcase We were delighted to welcome 13 schools and 3 Governors, who enjoyed a day exploring digital learning through stop-motion animation, drones, VR headsets and more. It was wonderful to hear that so many attendees were impressed by the teaching, presentations and innovative ways technology is being used across our school, and left feeling inspired and full of ideas to take back to their own schools.
