Our Year 6s had an exciting visit today from Dr Ricardo Petraco, a highly regarded consultant cardiologist. He linked his talk to their science topic on the human circulatory system and shared interesting details about his job. The highlight was seeing real heart scans from several of our pupils! Yesterday, our Year 1 students travelled back in time to the Age of the Dinosaurs They enjoyed a range of creative activities, including making dinosaur shapes from pasta, and even had the chance to meet a life-sized dinosaur who roamed the school, and even stopped by to visit Mr. Sales! Today is a very special day. Today is Good Friday. Our school chapel is undecorated and silent this morning as we quietly contemplate Christ's sacrifice and the importance of forgiveness. We're excited to announce that our new holiday club, Capybaras, will be open for Easter bookings tomorrow at 10am! Whilst still offering the great selection of activities that Multisport offered, there's now art and drama added in as well as the usual swimming fun. Our Eco Council led an impressive assembly, introducing Thomas Frank's Great Food Waste Challenge! The children explored creative ways to reduce food waste at school and were shocked by how much we throw away each week. We even had a fun food planning competition between teachers and pupilsplus a special feathery guest who delivered freshly laid eggs as prizes!
