Our U11A Girls cricket team had a fantastic week of sporting excellence, and we are enormously proud of their achievements. They played in a soft ball cricket tournament at The York Club and won their group to face Lambrook in the final. The girls rose to the occasion in the final and displayed some excellent bowling skills. Their batting was also top-notch, giving us the victory and winning the tournament. This final match was a brilliant warm-up for the IAPS hard ball cricket tournament, and once again, the girls outdid themselves and convincingly won the group to secure a place in the final. Unfortunately, despite some excellent cricket, it was not meant to be, and we lost by 1, resulting in second place overall.
