St. Piran’s is an independent co-educational
day school in Maidenhead.
Building on 200 years of tradition and the ethos of a family, Christian
school, we provide an excellent prep school education for children between
the ages of 2½ and 13
When they leave us to move on to their senior schools, our children are
happy, confident individuals whose future is based on the firm foundations
that we have laid. They will have developed leadership skills and will
have a clear understanding of their own learning.
In the classroom, there is a strong emphasis on the core subjects: English,
Maths and Science. In addition to this, the children have regular lessons
in a wide variety of subjects, ranging from Modern Foreign Languages and
History to Design and Information Technology. Music, Art, Swimming and
Sport contribute to a full and challenging curriculum.
Tutors and Form Teachers oversee the academic, social and pastoral welfare
and progress of the children in their care. We have a well-established
Leadership programme for the older children and our Clan system encourages
team-building and a sense of collective responsibility.
Above all, the children at St Piran’s are happy, keen to succeed
to the best of their abilities and eager to make the most of their time
with us.
