St Piran's Society

The St Piran's Society plays an important part in the life of the school, bringing together parents and enhancing the community spirit around us. The St Piran's Society comprises each and every parent or guardian of pupils in our school.

The Society organises a variety of fundraising activities that take place throughout the year raising funds for the school and nominated charities including quiz evenings, a Summer Ball and second-hand uniform sales. Some of our parents meet for a weekly parents' prayer group in the Chapel to pray for the school every Thursday morning.

The St Piran's Society Committee meets several times per term and is responsible for decision making and managing the finances, as well as overseeing the organisation of activities. Class representatives assist in liaising between the parents and the school to help with bringing Society's events to life.

We welcome the active involvement of parents, as Committee members, class reps, or to lead, and participate in, our events.

The Greatest Showman Ball

Join us on Saturday 8th June for our annual summer ball!

Plans are well underway to make this year’s Summer Ball the Greatest yet! All tables are for 12 people so please bear that in mind when planning your groups. We know many of you have been super organised and have yours sorted already, but also know of some people who don’t think they can fill a table… please do drop us an email and we’ll be delighted to help!

Tables went on sale online on Thursday 14th March via (password has been emailed to all parents)

Each table seats 12 and should be booked and paid for in full by a lead booker. At this stage no food or wine options are required. Tables cost £960 - £80 per person.

Once the table is booked, the lead booker will receive an email telling them their table name.

Please can the lead booker share the table name with guests on their table as they will need it for making their food & wine selections.

We’ll be sharing some of the amazing details in the run up to the event. We are pleased to announce the ever popular Magic Mirror Photobooth will be part of the evening’s festivities!

Massive thanks to ACTIVE SECURITY for their ongoing support of this event. We are delighted they have chosen to sponsor it again this year!

Mary Poppins Returns!

Tickets now available through the link below along with pre-orders for hot dogs!

As Middle and Upper School Sports Day is the following day, we’ll be opening the doors at the earlier time of 5:30pm and starting the movie at 6pm.

We've enjoyed the Polar Express and The Greatest Showman so far this year in our PJ Cinema Nights.

The funds raised by the two Society PJ Parties have paid for an amazing double set of state of the art swimming headsets which allow the children to hear instruction from their teachers directly in their ears.  Lots of children, from Nursery to Year 6 have had the chance to try out the new tech!

Christmas Fair

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the Christmas Fair on Sunday 2nd December. We really hope you and your children enjoyed it. We were so happy to see so many people supporting the event. We also had lots of volunteers setting up, running and tidying away. Without all of this help it couldn’t have happened. Thank you.

We are delighted to say that the event raised just shy of £2,500!

In addition to the proceeds from the event, every purchase from the Usborne stall resulted in a contribution of books from the company. Thanks to your shopping, St Piran’s will receive £300 worth of books for the children to enjoy!
