After School Activities - Christmas Term 2017

The St Piran’s activities programme is busy, lively and fun. There are a wealth of opportunities for your child to discover new talents as well as to enjoy more familiar activities. The programme continues to support the school’s aim to nurture and inspire children. There are after school activities for all children, but children in Years 5 and 6 are particularly encouraged to come along and participate fully in school life.

The after school activity list speaks for itself in terms of breadth and quality. The planner in the link below gives parents a complete overview of all the activities, both paid and unpaid.

Please remember that some clubs are run and organised separately and you must contact these clubs to book places. This is all clear on the planner.

The Booking Form is now online for you to choose your child's activities.

Once you have completed this, the on-line booking form will be submitted automatically to the Activities Managers and will be actioned in order of receipt; places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
You can assume that your child has been allocated a place on their chosen activities unless you hear otherwise.
Please note, Year 5 and 6 pupils not undertaking an after-school activity on any particular day, will need to select the home at 4.10pm option. Then, these pupils will need to sign-out with Matron at 4.10pm in the Early Leavers’ Register.
A few activities are organised by external providers, such as Dance, Musical Theatre, Teach it Right, Piranhas Swimming, Living Tennis, and you will need to approach these separately to request a place (see the “paid for” activities section above).
Unless stated otherwise, after-school activity costs incurred during the Christmas Term will be added to the Christmas Term bill 2017.

Do not forget that there is also Wrap-around-care available, with Breakfast Club 7.30-8.25am and Extended Day, 3.30-6.00pm. This operates 50 weeks per year.
